What is "Therapeutic Endoscopy"

• Therapeutic Endoscopy includes procedures beyond the scope of General Gastroenterology. In other words, it is more than the traditional procedures done by a Gastroenterologist, (colonoscopy and esophagogastroduodenoscopy-EGD)
• Most Therapeutic Endoscopists have done an additional year of rigorous training which is dedicated to these advanced procedures.
